O2 launches fixed line phone service

The mobile phone and broadband provider O2 is in the process of making a fixed phone line service available for home users.

It is not ready to go just yet but, according to some customers, the company is already taking names and numbers ready for the UK launch.

It seems that O2 is looking to offer the service to its broadband and mobile customers first of all.

This will be because the service can be added as part of a bundle, therefore its cost will be kept to a minimum for the consumer.

According to some customers, O2 has been accepting applications for the home phone service.

This will be for the line rental and voice service that was supposed to have been launched in March.

Estimates are now putting the launch at the end of the May to early June.
