After the expansion of its satellite services over the past year, Eutelsat Communications has revised its finances and come up with a figure over ten per cent higher than expected.
This follows a review of the company’s business activities over the past nine months.
It seems that the demand for HD television services and the demand for satellite capacity have seen revenues grow beyond the company’s expectations.
Over the past nine months, revenues at Eutelsat have reached over 776 million euros, reaching over 268 million euros during the last quarter alone; a rise of over thirteen per cent.
Therefore, with these figures being better than expected, the company’s management has revised its end of year target from 1020 million euros to 1035 million euros.
