Vodafone is doing some serious Android phone grabbing at the moment, adding another to its library of Google OS powered handsets which are already available.

Only yesterday the company declared its UK exclusive on the Samsung Galaxy S 16GB.

The latest announcement concerns the stocking of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini, the little brother of the Xperia X10.

The Android 1.6 powered phone is smaller than a credit card, and comes with a 2.5 inch touchscreen, 600MHz processor, 2GB of memory, a 5 megapixel camera, 3G and wi-fi.

It also has a custom built Timescape application, which is a central communications hub that highlights all texts and emails received, missed calls, social networking updates and so forth, without requiring the user to open specific apps.

Vodafone hasn’t given out any availability or pricing details, but the X10 Mini is now up on its site, and you can register there to be kept up to date on its progress.
