The Premier League football season may be over and the World Cup may only be broadcast in 2D for England’s matches, but these excuses do not mean that the new Sky 3D Channel is inactive, in fact quite the opposite.

This weekend will see BSkyB broadcasting a solid eight hours worth of sport in glorious 3D.

The Sky 3D Channel will be showing three finals that are taking place in three different countries all on one day.

Tomorrow, sports fans will be getting ready for a marathon of sports that includes the Championship play-off final between Blackpool and Cardiff city, the Heineken Cup Final between Biarritz and Toulouse and then off to Spain for the UEFA Champions League final between Bayern Munich and Inter Milan.
