For a family living in the Halifax area who can demonstrate that they use the internet as part of their daily routine, there is a chance to win free superfast fibre optic broadband for eighteen months.
This is a competition launched in conjunction with the Superfamily scheme and the reason why BT has chosen Halifax is because the BT fibre optic broadband bus will be rolling into town.
The demonstration bus will show the residents the difference between fibre optic and copper wire broadband.
Both householders and small business owners will be able to see the benefits of the superfast broadband service.
According to the regional director of BT, Jon Anderson, this superfast broadband service can offer households a broadband service unlike anything experienced before.
