Finally, the UK market has a Freeview HD set top box with hard drive and Blu-ray recorder.

The Panasonic DMR BW880 and BW780 come with dual tuners for more recording options and surround sound for extra audio quality.

Both these set top boxes allow the user to record content via the dual layer Blu-ray system and also come with a handy SD memory card slot, which allows the user to view camcorder and digital camera content.

With twin HD tuners, recording content while watching another channel is no problem and in fact the main difference between the two machines is the amount of storage available.

The DMR BW880 comes with a 500 GB hard drive, while the BW780 has only 250 GB, which is slightly small for HD content.
