One of the global leaders in technology innovation, LG, has launched a full LED 3D TV, said to be the first of its kind.

The LX9500 television, which is based on the company’s INFINIA design, was unveiled in front of the top brass from LG and members of the media, at the Rosewood Hotel in Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.

LG will be providing World Cup coverage at the hotel and clearly viewers will now be able to experience all the excitement in brilliant 3D.

The LX9500 comes in two sizes, 47” and the 55”, with both using the shutter glasses technology.

These glasses create the illusion of depth by blocking one lens then the other in sync with the refresh rate of the television.
