BeeWi turns hi-fi into iPod dock

June 10, 2010

BeeWi has launched a Bluetooth receiver that allows you to listen to your digital music collection on your home Hi-Fi.

The BBR100 receiver connects a mobile phone, MP3 player or laptop to traditional hi-fi speakers via Bluetooth.

You simply plug the receiver into a standard mains socket, and the audio output into your hi-fi via a 3.5mm headphone jack or RCA input.

The receiver also has an integrated USB port for charging portable devices so there’s no risk of the mobile phone battery going flat while you’re listening.

The device will be distributed in the UK by Avenir Telecom and will cost around 29 Euros.

BeeWi also recently launched a wireless game of cyber-bees for the iPhone and iPod, which can be downloaded for free from the Apple store.
