Adobe to release Flash fix

June 14, 2010

A flaw within the Adobe Flash Player has pushed the company into releasing the 10.1 Flash update, but this is no ordinary update as it appears to have been designed to fix around thirty two bugs.

However, a patch designed to the fix the Reader and Acrobat versions has not been released yet; in fact this one will not be issued until the end of the month, which is slightly worrying for some users.

The flaw being targeted by hackers in Adobe is being exploited by malicious Flash swf files, which would be opened through a PDF file or by a Flash Player-plug in for the web browser.

According to the security firm Symantec, user of the software should get the update as soon as possible.
