The E3 in Los Angeles is considered by many as being the largest and most exciting gaming expo on the calendar.

Judging by the turnout, that claim would appear to be correct.

It was Sony that opened its press conference which appeared to get the audience’s attention in double quick time.

The company showed off gaming in 3D with its short clip from Killzone 3 that required the audience to put on the now familiar 3D Specs.

According to the president of Sony Computer Entertainment America, Jack Tretton, there are currently over thirty five million Playstation 3 games consoles that are 3D Ready following recent software updates.

The company has also begun to ship its 3D Bravia range of TVs and claims that there are currently twenty games available in the 3D format.
