Timico boosts portfolio with snom phones

June 22, 2010

snom technology AG, developer and manufacturer of Voice-over-IP (VoIP) telephones, has announced that leading business internet service provider (ISP) Timico is adding the complete range of snom IP telephones to its portfolio.

The snom suite will be available with both the IP phone system VoIPCortex, and the fully hosted VoIP solution offered by Timico as the company looks to expand its product base to meet growing demand.

As an independent ISP, Timico’s solutions are designed to increase efficiency and customer operations for small to medium enterprises and corporates.

Trefor Davies, Chief Technology Officer at Timico, commented: “In the current climate, we are committed more than ever to offer our customers a high-quality phone at an affordable price.

“Of all the handset ranges available to us, snom’s ticked all the right boxes and represents the best fit with our current IP solutions.”

snom’s UK sales manager Nelly Monkhouse welcomed the announcement, saying: “We are delighted to introduce the snom product range to the fast-growing customer base that Timico is establishing.

“We are confident that our portfolio will significantly increase the level of choice and affordability of Timico’s solution.

“Not only will existing customers benefit from the wider choice of phone available, but new solutions should also broaden Timico’s customer base, allowing them to meet market demands that they were previously unable to.”

Davies continued: “snom has been a pioneer of standards-based VoIP phones since it launched the snom 100 over ten years ago and it continues to lead the field today with state-of-the-art devices like the snom 870.

“I have been continually impressed with the quality and variety of products in the snom range and the ease of interoperability with both our fully hosted and premises-based solutions. snom has also demonstrated a very focused and enthusiastic approach to partnership, working hand-in-hand with its distributor ProVu to optimise the process of accreditation and testing.”
