June 28, 2010

The user generated video site YouTube has recorded a massive 14.6 billion videos being watched during the month of May.

This is an all time record for the site and this figure accounts for an amazing 43.1 per cent of all videos watched online during the month.

YouTube has been involved in a massive lawsuit with the content producer Viacom over copyrighted material that has lasted around three years.

YouTube has grown month on month and now the legal issue has been thrown out of court, YouTube can only grow further.

From now on YouTube is free to begin advertising and marketing the video site with a view to gaining even more users in the future.
