More religious programming on the BBC

by David Allen

It was only few months ago when the Church of England complained about UK television and in particular the BBC, because of the apparent decline in religious programming.

As a public service broadcaster, this concerns the BBC more than the other channels.

It seems that the BBC has taken notice and as from the 11th July a new Sunday morning show on BBC One, fronted by the newsreader Susanna Reid, will take to the airwaves.

Sunday Morning Live will be a series of twenty live shows that will be filmed in the BBC’s Belfast studios.

The show will be making use of all the technology available to it, such as email, phone and video, and viewers will be able to submit their own videos for consideration.
