Broadband speeds still disappointing

For the average broadband user there are plenty of issues that give cause for complaint, but it seems that the one that stands out above the rest is the issue of connection speeds.

The thing is that while average broadband speeds are increasing slightly year on year, the internet habits of the consumer are changing too.

So while the broadband speed in the average home is much faster than before, the users are actually using the internet more and are using new applications such as online TV and gaming.

Internet users are used to this now but whenever there is a slowdown for any reason at all, which means no gaming or video streaming, it’s like the end of the world to some internet users.
