The new Firefox app developed by Mozilla for the iPhone has been sent off to Apple for approval, only a couple of months on from when it was announced that the app was being planned.

The app, which will be called “Firefox Home”, will be a free app that offers the user access to their history, bookmarks and tabs made available on the iPhone.

Firefox Home is a not a full browser, however it will allow the user to pick up where they left off.

Therefore, this is handy app for people who are often called away from their main computer.

The user can synchronize the full browser with the app on the iPhone, but any sites that the user wants to visit will be opened in the Safari browser.
