Brighton residents do not like BT’s fibre cabinets

The next time the UK is ranked on the global scale for broadband speed and the country comes well down the league table, BT will have a good explanation to offer.

It seems that despite the demand for the super fast broadband services throughout the country, there are some residents that are unhappy to see the new roadside cabinets appearing in the streets outside their homes.

These new cabinets are very similar to those already installed, but are taller and wider to cope with the technology requirements.

However, despite being approved by the local councils, there are residents that do not like or want them near their homes, although they do want the superfast broadband that the boxes will be supplying.
