The popular TV shopping channel, Ideal Shopping Direct could be going up for sale, following an announcement from the channel in the Sunday Times.

Although there is nothing set in stone, the management of the business is considering a sale should the right sort of buyer come along with the right sort of offer.

The board has decided to review the current situation and its future options, which would include the future sale of channel.

It has been reported that the channel owners, Paul Wright and Val Kaye, will be selling their 35 per cent stake in the business.

The Peterborough based shopping channel was formed in 2000 and later on in the year was floated on the alternative investment market.
