The free-to-view digital TV satellite service, Freesat has appointed the advertising agency VCCP to handle its account and make it into a household brand in the UK.
The account, covering marketing and advertising, was fiercely fought over by several agencies.
It brief is to get the Freesat name and product out there and in front of as many consumers as possible.
VCCP takes over from the Farm which handled the account previously, the World Cup being one of the more recent advertising campaigns where they used “Brownie Points” to get the message across.
This was used to bring free HD channels to the users of Freesat equipment.
