Rumours over iPhone 4 recall

July 16, 2010

The problems for Apple continue to build over the issues surrounding the iPhone 4.

To make things worse for Apple, Consumer Reports, a sort of US version of Which? has declined to recommend the new Apple iPhone following an in depth review of the product and highlighting reception problems as the main issue.

To make matters worse, the bookmaker Paddy Power is now offering odds of 4/6 that Apple will have to recall the iPhone 4 to fix the reception issue once and for all.

Apple has not covered itself in glory with the new iPhone, with claims that users were holding the device wrongly and then that the signal was fine, it was just the software that needed an update.

I think the whole reception issue is a load of rubbish being exaggerated by people who clearly aren’t apple fans. I’m posting this comment from my iPhone 4 and I’m having not problems, yer for sure the reception issue exists and I have experienced it, but now I have a case for the phone which I am sure the majority of other users will do also, and there is no problem. It should t be an as big as problem as people are making it!!

“I think the whole reception issue is a load of rubbish - yer for sure the reception issue exists and I have experienced it” - makes sense.

The point is you shouldnt need a case! It’s not a question of not being an Apple fan, its about paying absolute top dollar for a product which has a pretty serious flaw.
