sipgate launches ‘team’ VoIP for UK SMEs

sipgate today announced the launch of a team version of its UK telephone service, which will allow SMEs to save costs through cloud based phone services.

sipgate Team offers telephony functions via an online web portal, through which each employee can go to their inbox to access phone logs, recordings, voicemail messages and faxes.

Users can also forward, label and comment on calls.

Calls can be returned with one click and faxes can be signed and set via a WYSIWYG interface on the company letterhead.

“Our aim is to make a telephone service that’s as easy to use as email,” said Thilo Salmon, CEO of sipgate.

“If you can use email, you know enough to run your company’s corporate telephone system.

“We think this service will resonate particularly well with entrepreneurial companies and firms that have already realised the benefits from other web-based services like hosted CRM or email.”

A free 30-day trial of sipgate team is available, after which there is an introductory offer costing from £1.50 per user per month.
