Dell Streak, the tablet computer, smartphone hybrid, will launch in the US tomorrow, following its launch in Europe earlier this summer.
The Android-based MID (mobile internet device), has a 5 inch touch screen, built in Wi-Fi, 5 megapixel autofocus camera, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and it comes with Google Maps.
It’s on the chunky side for a mobile phone, but can be used via a Bluetooth earpiece so that you can still look cool while using it – unless you’re after the retro ‘brick’ phone look.
Available on o2s network in Europe, AT&T will be the exclusive mobile voice and wireless broadband carrier for the device in the US.
The device is available only through Dell’s website and will cost $300 with a new two-year AT&T contract including a data plan.
It can be used as a Wi-Fi only device and without an AT&T contract it will cost $550.
