Vodafone offers mobile wi-fi hub

Vodafone has introduced the R201 mobile wi-fi hub, following in the footsteps of 3 who already offer such a product.

Essentially it’s a compact (9 x 6cm) wi-fi router which allows the owner to connect up to five devices, no software or wires (obviously) are required.

The R201 is powered by an internal battery, which Vodafone claims lasts up to four hours on a single charge.

You can order the hub from Vodafone on an 18 month contract, starting at £15 per month which includes 3GB of data allowance (although the router itself will set you back £49 on this plan). The device comes for free if you’re willing to sign up to a £25 per month tariff (which comes with a 5GB allowance).
