A preview of Microsoft’s Aurora server is now available for download from Microsoft’s Connect site.

The server is designed for companies with up to 25 employees and combines on-site and cloud computing capabilities.

Aurora is suitable for companies with either no network, or which use a peer-to-peer network.

The server with automatically back up every computer and server on the network each day, protecting a business from data loss.

Aurora allows each employee to have a personal web address, which means that they will be able to access files from any web browser when they are away from the office.

The server will also link with online services such as Microsoft’s Business Productivity Online Suite.
