Cash for old laptops at PC World and Currys

You could get £50 for your old laptop when you buy a new machine at PC World and Currys this weekend.

It doesn’t matter what make or model it is, as long as it still switches on and runs.

Oh, and the exterior must be in good nick too, no broken hinges or cracked screens.

There’s no need to worry about paying for the old hard drive to be wiped either, as the store will do this for free, instead of the £30 they usually charge.

So, if you’ve got an Osborn 1 gathering dust in your attic this could be the time to dig it out, as long as you’re strong enough to pick it up that is.

Although it might be worth putting it on eBay first – there could be a collector just waiting to pay better bucks for your pile of dusty chips – and it would also be a good move to check out the offers on the Internet for that shiny new machine you’ve been craving.
