While we might not yet have a release date for the upcoming BlackBerry Torch 9800 smartphone, what we do have is some pricing details. Or rumoured ones, anyway.
The website BlackBerry Leaks has managed to get hold of what appears to be a Vodafone pricing sheet for the Torch. It shows 18 month contracts running from £20 to £40 per month, and two year deals running from £15 upwards.
The handset itself will be priced between £49 and £399, according to this leaked document, although you’ll be able to get it for free on the highest price plan tiers, as is customary.
The phone, which comes loaded with the latest BlackBerry OS 6, has got off to a somewhat sluggish start in terms of US sales. Analyst estimates put sales at 150,000 units over its launch weekend, which isn’t too shabby, but it certainly won’t worry Apple.
