Nokia has taken the wraps off its E7 phone at Nokia World 2010, as was widely predicted.
The E7 is pitched at business users, and it comes with a full Qwerty sliding keyboard, with a 4 inch tilting touchscreen display (which is an AMOLED affair to boot).
The display boasts Nokia’s ClearBlack technology, which offers enhanced clarity and improved outdoor visibility. Nokia commented that “business users will find the Nokia E7 is the perfect shape and size to work on documents, review spreadsheets, or read and edit slides.”
Other specs include an 8 megapixel camera, 16GB of memory, bluetooth and wi-fi. The smartphone will run Symbian^3, and comes with Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync built-in to provide real-time access to corporate email.
And what’s the price for this little lot? 495 Euros apparently, which is just over £400. The Nokia E7 should be out later this year.
