It seems that the cost of the successor to the popular HTC Desire smartphone has been revealed by an online retailer.
Previously, Amazon had leaked the price tag of the HTC Desire HD as £415 back in August, and as we reported at the time this seemed very much on the cheap side.
But now it seems the Desire HD, which was officially launched yesterday – sans price or street date – might indeed cost a little more than that, according to retailer Mobilefun.co.uk.
One of our readers spotted it up on the site (thanks Jazz), where it’s priced sim-free at £460 and also marked with a release date of October 8th. The Desire Z, also officially launched yesterday, is priced at £430 with the same release date.
The HTC Desire HD comes with a 4.3 inch LCD display, a 1GHz processor, and an 8 megapixel camera with dual flash capable of 720p HD recording. The Desire Z has a 3.7 inch display, an 800MHz processor, a sliding Qwerty keyboard and a 5 megapixel camera (also capable of 720p recording).
