Sky reveals 3D channel line-up

Sky is gearing up for the launch of its 3D channel on 1 October and has announced its programme line-up.

The channel will be showing a mix of sports, movies, documentaries and live events.

Sport:

Ryder Cup (1-3 October)
Euro 2012 qualifiers
Autumn Rugby Union internationals
Live Barclays Premier League Matches
World Heavyweight Title fight

Movies:

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
Toy Story 1,2 and 3 (Jan 2011)
Monsters vs. Aliens
Alice in Wonderland
Bolt
Coraline
Fly me to the Moon
My Bloody Valentine
Street Dance UK
Garfields Pet Force
Step Up 3
A Christmas Carol

Other:

The Princes Trust Rock Gala
Flying Monsters 3D
Dance, Dance, Dance
3D Meerkats
Bugs!
7 Wonders of the Solar System
Treasure Houses of Britain

Virgin Media pipped Sky to the post with its 3D Movies on Demand service, although the only movie currently available is StreetDance 3D.
