Nokia N8 pre-orders now live on Vodafone

If you’re after a Nokia N8 on Vodafone, you can now pre-order the smartphone at the operator’s site.

Vodafone states that if you pre-order now, you can expect to receive your handset on October 22nd.

Vodafone has the exclusive on the green N8, too, should you want something a little bit different in terms of colour scheme. Your friends will literally be green with envy (or it might be due to that kebab they had last night from the late-night burger van).

Tariffs start from £25 per month over two years, which gives you 100 minutes, 500 texts and 500MB of data. On that plan, the handset costs £99.

If you step up to £30 per month, you get the handset free, with 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB data. That’s a considerably better deal for stepping up a fiver, although this is an online exclusive with £5 off (so it should be pitched at £35 per month).

If you really want to splash some cash, the top tier £55 per month over two years plan nets you 3000 minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of mobile net (plus 5MB of Euro data). Needless to say, you also get the smartphone itself free on this plan.

The N8 comes with a 3.5 inch AMOLED touchscreen, 16GB of memory, Symbian^3, and a much hyped 12 megapixel camera which should take some pretty impressive pics for a phone camera.

  1. Hey Darren, the Nokia N8 is certainly a very cool multi-purpose gadget. I’ve been particularly impressed by the Nokia N8 as it offers some of the hottest firepower on a phone. The television features and mobile applications are unsurpassed as far as I’m concerned. I mean when it’s compared to the iPhone and Apple phones - it looks pretty good :)
