Orange will stock Samsung Galaxy Tab

More Galaxy Tab news is in, with the release date of the tablet – a week on Monday – fast approaching.

And TechRadar has the scoop on this one, having interrogated Orange and received the following statement from a spokesman: “We can confirm we are planning to range the Galaxy Tab in early November.”

So there you have it, although the pricing details aren’t yet ready to be revealed. Early November suggests the operator won’t have it for the launch day of November 1st, but it should be soon after.

O2 has also just announced that it will be stocking Samsung’s 7 inch slate, alongside 3 and Vodafone.

This morning, Tesco also piped up and stuck the Tab on its website for sale at £529 sim-free, the same price Carphone Warehouse and Amazon are asking, give or take 99p.

There are plenty of options for potential buyers, and Samsung will certainly be hoping for a run on sales like the namesake Galaxy S smartphone managed. The handset shifted 5 million units in just four months on sale.
