There’s a new number one in this week’s UK all-format game chart, and it’s Bethesda which has displaced Medal of Honor from the top spot with the post-apocalyptic follow up to Fallout 3.

Fallout: New Vegas beat Fallout 3’s sales figures by some margin, in fact it was up 29% in terms of units shifted in comparison to the debut week of the original game, according to Chart Track.

Medal of Honor saw a 48% drop in sales as it moved down to number two, and FIFA 11 also slid a place to number three. A new entry popped up at number four, Professor Layton and the Lost Future for the Nintendo DS. Ubisoft’s Just Dance 2 was busy boogying away at number five.

Other new entries included Sega’s Vanquish at number twelve, and MMA from EA which only managed number twenty-three. DJ Hero 2 also proved a rather disappointing debut for Activision-Blizzard, coming in at number twenty-five.
