The so-called Fast 50 league is compiled by Deloitte, and shows the 50 fastest growing tech businesses along with the percentage figures for their expansion over the past five years.
Mobile Interactive Group came top with a staggering growth level of 26,885%. No mean feat in the face of the current economic climate.
CEO Barry Houlihan told V3.co.uk: “We’re delighted to have come top of this year’s Fast 50. We’re in a high-growth industry, dealing with rapid changes in devices, products, platforms and user expectations.”
20 London based firms were in the top 50. DisplayLink Ltd (semi-conductors and electronics) came second, but considerably behind MIG on 9041%, and Mimecast Ltd (software) was third on 7579%.
LoveFilm came in 18th place, with a growth of 1472%. To make the top 50, a company had to achieve at least a growth of 652%.
