The Queen has launched her own Facebook page (God bless it, and all who update it).
The fan page will be the official page of the royal family, and will keep those who “like” it up to date with all the latest news (although possibly keeping quiet about how Philip has put his foot in it again).
The Queen has been keen to develop an online presence to show the royal family are still in technological touch with the rest of the country.
Before this Facebook page, the royal family also started a Twitter account, and an official YouTube page. Back in July, a Flickr account was also opened to house albums of treasured photos from the royal family’s past.
Some of the photographs date back to the 1850s, featuring Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. There are none of Prince Harry at that fancy dress party, though.
