Those of you with an HTC Legend phone on Vodafone can prepare yourself for some Android dessert, with the arrival of Froyo, also known as Android 2.2.
Folks were previously unsure when Froyo (which is short for frozen yoghurt) would make the Legend, with a vague time frame of before the end of the year.
However, according to reports on the Vodafone forums, it’s now here, and only available on Vodafone handsets in the UK, France and Germany. It’s not on stock Legends yet, which is unusual to say the least.
Android 2.2 brings with it various goodies, including a speed boost, and device tethering capabilities.
