Earlier this week, Orange and T-Mobile (Everything Everywhere) announced that they were going to offer the iPad on contract deals for an up front price starting at £200.
That would be for the 16GB 3G version of the iPad which normally retails at £529, and the operators will offer it for both 18 month and two year contracts.
Not to be outdone, 3 has also announced that it will be offering subsidised iPad deals, although the network didn’t say anything about tariffs or pricing.
3 stated: “3 UK today announced it will offer new purchase options for iPad users, including more affordable prices when purchased with a data service plan, for iPad with wi-fi and 3G models in the coming months.”
We expect Vodafone and O2 will have similar announcements to make soon.
