Ofcom has revoked the broadcasting licence for adult channels Tease Me, Tease Me TV and Tease Me 2 and 3, taking them off air.

The licences were revoked for the channels not being “fit and proper”, after displaying inappropriate adult content.

According to Ofcom, the channels had more than 60 rule breaches were recorded over the past 18 months, rules which are intended to protect children from inappropriate material and viewers from harmful and offensive content.

The Tease Me channels were focused around a female presenter encouraging viewers to call a premium rate number.

However, Ofcom reported that the content was too sexually explicit for an unencrypted channel, not least broadcast during hours during the watershed.

yes they had premium rate numbers for people to call and the cost a lot to call

so where do they can and can’t tell people what they can do with there money by if the want to phone these numbers then it’s up to the customer to phone them or not

explain to me about watershed if you refur after 9pm i thought after 9 pm that channels can show a more adult content so if its after 9pm what the hells the problem + there other things on tv and internet that far worse than watching the tease me channels

4 why didn’t you get them to put in place a screening service to check peoples age before viewing + if you are complaing about tv channels aswell ask them to scramble the signal so they can put pin in to continue watching

5 if this is to much of an adult theme for you and
under 18’s accessing this site the i have news for you why is it that under 18 are having sex and babys

I used to watch those channels from Spain, it’s very sad to have censorship in the 21th century.

We have way more explicit channels airing on Astra and Hotbird.

  3. Dave says:

All these kind of channels should be taken down.

Its a disgrace to see women doing this kind of stuff on live tv no bloody dignity. Whats next? We talk about other countries covering thier women up with veils while we uncover ours.
