Google presents Nexus S challenge, win a free phone

Google has launched a series of Twitter challenges, with the winner of each being rewarded with a shiny new Nexus S smartphone.

Check it out at the Google Nexus channel on Twitter. The latest puzzle from yesterday challenged tweeters to construct a haiku about why they should be the winner of a Nexus S.

The competition is open to residents of the UK, Canada and US who are followers of the Google Nexus channel, and “above the age of majority”.

Today’s puzzle (which is the eighth to be unveiled) will be posted up at 9am Pacific time, which is 5pm here. Apparently, this one is aimed at coders, with Google tweeting a hint: “Brush up your Android 2.3 SDK knowledge.”

Timeliness figures into who wins, as well as the accuracy of the answer, so if you want to stand the best chance, then fire that response in quickly.
