The Co-Founder of Microsoft, Paul Allen, has seen his lawsuit dismissed by a federal judge.
He had filed the suit against a number of technology companies, including Google, Apple, Facebook, eBay, Yahoo, AOL and others (Microsoft not being one of them, strangely enough). It accused them of infringing patents relating to web technology held by Allen’s firm, Interval Licensing.
According to a BBC report, the judge said that he had failed to indicate specifically which products had infringed on his rights, and that the suit was too vague as a result.
However, that isn’t the end of the matter, as a spokesperson for Mr Allen told the BBC that he was intending to clarify these issues and re-file an amended complaint.
