Samsung Galaxy Tab Luxury Edition revealed

by Darren Allan

Samsung has unveiled a new version of its Galaxy Tab slate over at the Millionaire Fair trade show in Amsterdam.

The Millionaire Fair is the place where the “international luxury industry” meets to present its most exclusive products and services. Liz Hurley reportedly once called the fair “the sexiest event I’ve ever seen” (although perhaps she doesn’t subscribe to all the right cable channels).

Anyhow, so what’s different about Samsung’s Luxury Edition tablet? It comes with a leather case, and a bluetooth headset. And that’s it.

Which is a bit disappointing, really, and we doubt Liz will be finding that particularly sexy (though she might be well into leather, who knows).

Okay, so we weren’t expecting it to come clad in diamonds like some Stuart Hughes iPad creation, but a leather case? There could at least be some extra features included in terms of apps or something (an “I am Rich” app, perhaps).

The new version of the Tab is priced at £626, should you be tempted, but we remain pretty much unmoved on this one.
