According to reports from online retailer, Expansys, we can expect the Dell Venue Pro (aka Lightning) to be released within the next four days.

The Dell Venue Pro has hit a lot of snags and its release has been delayed quite a lot, however it will find its way onto the market sooner than expected.

The handset is primarily a business phone and hosts many features such as an AMOLED multi touch, 4.1 inch screen, a 5 mega pixel camera, a 1Ghz snap dragon processor, all the Windows phone 7 OS features, and a sliding QWERTY keyboard.

The round, chrome aides of the Venue Pro resembles that of an iPhone 3G/S, and the back is contoured for a firm grip.

The buttons upon the Venue Pro are touch sensitive. It has a micro USB port hidden away in the bottom edge of the device, and a headphone jack at the top.

It seems to be the sliding keyboard however, that really makes it a ‘pro’ business handset.

The keys are made of a firm rubber, much like the keys on the Droid 2, and the sliding mechanism is hidden away, but strong. This gives the Venue Pro a toughness to combat scraped and bangs that usually seem to be the bane of most sliding handsets.

The Dell Venue Pro will be available for £439.99, SIM-free.
