The Black is one of LG’s new phones under the Optimus brand, and it’s going to be carried by T-Mobile.

TechRadar spotted that the mobile has been put up on the “coming soon” page of T-Mobile’s website.

According to the network operator, the Optimus Black is due to arrive in March. There’s no option to pre-order just yet, but you can register your interest and T-Mobile will keep you posted on when pre-ordering goes live.

The handset’s tech specs include a 4 inch super-bright “Nova” display which hits a brightness level of 700 nits, yet still remains energy efficient. It will also boast a 1GHz processor, a 5 megapixel camera, and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera.

The smartphone will run Android 2.2 initially, with a swift-ish upgrade to Gingerbread promised.

With the Galaxy Ace being released by t-mobile and having a very good price plans for upgrade. You can get it free from £20, This phone looks to be the next big seller, the Optimus Black will have to be around the £25 price plans to compete. Some very slick adverts for the Ace , wht can the optimus black do??

Also forgot to mention, we hardly ever get asked for LG handsets by tmobile customrs for an upgrade, so the Optimus black got a uphill battle
