Nintendo has confirmed the launch day line-up of games which will be released alongside the 3DS when it hits the streets on March 25th.

There are 13 titles in total, including some big franchise names such as Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition, The Sims 3, PES 2011 3D, and LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars.

From the Nintendo stable, the two releases are Pilotwings Resort and Nintendogs & Cats, the virtual pet game.

Other games which will be available include Ridge Racer 3D, Super Monkey Ball 3D, Samurai Warriors: Chronicles, Asphalt 3D and Rayman 3D. Finally, two Tom Clancy titles are promised, Splinter Cell 3D and Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars.

It’s a reasonably strong initial line-up with something for both more casual and hardcore gamers, and naturally enough, there’s more to follow. The likes of 3D versions of Zelda, Star Fox and Mario Kart are all in the pipeline.

Amazon has just dropped the price of the 3D handheld once again, this time by another fiver to £197.
