3 has confirmed that it will definitely be selling the LG Optimus 3D, after the network dropped heavy hints on Twitter just over a week ago.
The handset boasts a dual-core processor, and is capable of 1080p playback in 2D, and 720p in three dimensions. It has a dual-lens 5 megapixel camera which can record in 3D, and a mini-HDMI out so you can view footage on your 3DTV.
3D gaming is also an attraction, Nintendo 3DS style, and the Optimus 3D comes with three pre-loaded games to show off its extra-dimensional skills.
Sylvia Chind, 3’s Head of Branded Devices, commented: “The LG Optimus 3D makes glasses-free 3D available for everyone. This is LG’s most advanced smartphone yet, which is exactly why we are so proud to offer it to our customers. It allows you to create, download, stream and share amazing quality 3D content.”
Release or pricing details still haven’t been announced, but will be soon, apparently.
