Samsung Galaxy S II out in March?

by Darren Allan

The Samsung Galaxy S II could be arriving in March, if the dates a pair of online retailers have set are to be believed.

Play.com has the 16GB version of the smartphone listed for release on March 31st, at a price of £600 (with a recommended retail of £650).

Retailer Clove has also revealed a price and purported release date on its blog page, as spotted by TechRadar.

Clove reckons the handset could even be out in a couple of weeks, citing mid-to-late March for release, and a price of £612. The 32GB version of the S II is even more of a stinger, with a tag of £708.

eXpansys has the phone at £650 for the 16GB variant – although, rather bizarrely, a release date of June. If March seems too soon, that definitely errs on the late side.

The Galaxy S II sports a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus display, a dual-core 1GHz processor, an 8 megapixel camera (with LED flash, and capable of full HD), bluetooth and wi-fi.
