3 has announced when it will be stocking three upcoming HTC smartphones.
According to a report on C-net UK, the triplet of phones have just been posted up on the network operator’s “coming soon” page, and release dates – but not prices – have been indicated.
The Desire S will be the first to arrive next month. The handset boasts a more streamlined body design than the original Desire, along with a new 1GHz Qualcomm processor, and a front-facing camera for video chatting.
The Wildfire S will emerge in May, stepping up from the original Wildfire with an improved 3.2 inch 480 x 320 screen. It has a 600MHz processor and 5 megapixel camera on board.
Finally, you’ll have to wait until summer arrives for the ChaCha, June to be precise. This social network oriented handset comes with a Facebook button for one-touch access, and a Qwerty keyboard for typing status updates. On top of this there’s a 2.6 inch display, 600MHz processor, 5 megapixel camera and a front-facer for video chats.
Whether or not it’ll keep the name ChaCha is a subject for debate, given that the question and answer search engine of the same name has filed a lawsuit against HTC.
