Samsung Corby II unveiled

by Darren Allan

If the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S sequel is too pricey for your budget, then maybe the successor to the Corby is more up your smartphone street.

Yes, the Corby II has been announced, and it comes with a 3.14 inch QVGA display, a 2 megapixel camera, bluetooth – and also wi-fi, which the original Corby didn’t have. Throw in the TouchWiz UI with a social hub, and a slide-out mini-trouser press, and you’ve got quite a little package.

Okay, so the Corby II doesn’t have a slide-out miniature trouser press. Maybe that’s one for the Corby III.

The smartphone is expected to be out across Europe over the next few months, initially in Germany and then spreading to other markets. Pricing should be around the £150 mark, perhaps a bit more.
