A road map from mobile operator 3 has been leaked online with some interesting revelations contained within.
Engadget spotted this one, with the two main items of interest being the Samsung Galaxy S II Mini and Nokia X7.
The S II Mini is not to be confused with the already announced Galaxy Mini, the entry-level handset which 3 will also be stocking (it comes with a 600MHz processor and 3.14 inch display).
In fact, the S II Mini is a high-end handset, and indeed comes with a not-so-miniature 3.7 inch display. Other specs include a 1.4GHz processor (single core, presumably), 5 megpixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, and a VGA front-facer for video chatting.
The handset will run Gingerbread and is apparently due out as soon as next month.
The Nokia X7 is also mentioned with a June release date. This Symbian powered mid-tier handset comes with a 4 inch nHD OLED screen, and an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus, dual LED flash, and a digital zoom.
On top of the smartphones, 3 will also be carrying a couple of tablets in the near future. The HTC Flyer is due in May, and the BlackBerry PlayBook in June. The PlayBook is expected to launch very shortly in the States.
