Crysis 2 holds UK game chart number one

Crysis 2 has stayed at the top of the UK all-format game chart (as compiled by Chart Track) for a second week, holding off a challenge from Zumba Fitness.

EA’s shooter might have dropped by a third in terms of sales, but it still pushed through enough units to keep 505 Games’ Latin dancing title from taking the top spot.

Zumba Fitness was released for the Xbox Kinect back when the motion control peripheral was launched last year, and then on PS3 Move, but this week saw the Wii release, and the game blazing up the charts.

Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars is down at number three, followed by Shift 2: Unleashed, which is a new entry at number four for EA. THQ’s shooter Homefront slid down to number five.

EA has another new entry at number six, with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters. And THQ also has a new entry at number seven with WWE All Stars, its wrestling game.

Rounding out the top ten are FIFA 11, Pokemon White and Nintendo’s Art Academy.

    All hype.

Finished it on the weekend and it was ok at best.

Slow boring start for the first 2 hours just slaughtering soldiers who posed no challenge, then it picks up from the middle and escalates to a boring and unimagiative ending screaming sequel.

Nothing about the story gets rapped up, just slightly developed.

I won’t be buying the next one.
