HTC Sensation is Vodafone exclusive, other networks to follow

by Darren Allan

The HTC Sensation will be carried exclusively by Vodafone when it launches in the middle of next month.

Other networks will follow a month later in June, with Everything Everywhere – T-Mobile and Orange – and 3 announcing plans to stock the smartphone which is big on multimedia.

Voda hasn’t hinted at any pricing, yet, but you can bet the flash HTC handset won’t come particularly cheap.

The Sensation, which was formerly known as the Pyramid, is a dual-core 1.2GHz powered Gingerbread smartphone.

Other specs include a spacious 4.3 inch display boasting a resolution of 960 x 540, and an 8 megapixel camera with full 1080p recording (along with dual LED flash). There’s a front-facing camera for video chatting, too.

The 16:9 widescreen display can be used to view streaming movies from the HTC Watch service on board, or you can pipe them out to an HDTV from the handset.
