Portal 2 fans will be pleased to hear that downloadable content is planned for the game in the not-too-distant future.
Valve’s own Doug Lombardi made the revelation in an interview with Fast Company (via BitGamer).
Lombardi told them: “We will be announcing some DLC for it, so folks can keep a look out for more content coming this summer. We’ll be putting more details out about that in a week or so.”
That was all he said, unfortunately, so it’s not clear what sort of content we’re talking here, or whether this will be more single player levels. Or indeed whether this will be free or charged for DLC.
Lombardi did add that more videos and comics will also be released alongside the downloadable content.
The Razer Hydra motion controller for the PC comes bundled with Portal 2, and six bonus levels are supposed to be included with this, too. The Hydra is set to ship in June.
